Jonathan Harnum has played trumpet for over 35 years in various genres, has taught music and trumpet at all levels, from beginners through collegiate players, and especially loves to help out comeback players. Harnum earned a PhD in music education from Northwestern University and is the author of several music-related books, including his other Amazon #1 best-sellers, The Practice of Practice and Basic Music Theory: How to Read, Write, and Understand Written Music.
